class outing at ECP tmr is cancelled. please take note. I mean, like now there is only 8 people who CONFIRMED can make it. majority of those who can maybe/most probably make it, all cant make it now. it wont be a 107 outing anymore if so many people cant make it.

CLASS OUTING
As requested, class outing has been finalised. and PLEASE, PLEASE inform me online or something whether you can make it. (even if you cant) I need to know how many people are aware of the outing.

PLACE: (by popular demand) East Coast Park
DATE: 13 November 2007 aka this tuesday
TIME: 11am - about 5pm
(meet at macdonals or something. details about this finalised later)
ACTIVITIES: cycling, YEAH! For lunch/teabreak, we can have a potluck picnic lunch(which will be fun and cool)/lunch at Macs. (details confirmed by tmr)

with much regret, the supposedly planned outing to sentosa is cancelled due to unsatisfied feedback from quite a number of people, for example, the cost is too much.

Heard that some of you guys are going berserk with boredom and miss 107 like soooo much. And quite a number of people are like thinking of class outings and all. Ice skating, chalets, escape, are all just too cliche. Unless, we go hound the PB to let us serve our remaining hours of DC. At least, that's productive haha.

So, while brainstorming, there is this suggested place to go to, yeah (: Details of the place:

Place : Sentosa
Why : Not much interesting places in Spore, and this is SOMEWHAT interesting. Besides, to meet up as a class.
When: Next Mon (12/11)

Anyway, this is just SUGGESTED. If you guys have better ideas, please urm, blog them. And yeah, please tag/blog your comments on the suggested class outing.

Hey people (:

Oh well, the year has ended. Though we had alot of stuff like happening towards the end of hte year, like for example, the class tee thg, it's a really good thing that everything ended well yeah? Thanks for all the memories people. Though we might not be sitting in the same J209 classroom having lessons together, sneaking in food, all those random UNGLAM cnadid photo taking, etc etc, we all still have the 107 spirit, yeah? We are all uniquely 107'07, always.

I guess it's been a ~~hard~~ challenging year for most of us, yeah? With all those class problems and all. But yeah, we all have grown much stronger from our mistakes and we wont repeat them in future. Oh well, somehow I think I miss us getting into trouble haha. And all those scoldings for cleanliness and our numerous record for class DCs. It will be rather hard to forget all these.

Haha, and do you guys remember the bio lesson we 'accidentally' ponned, after lunch or something? When we were supposed to be at the lab, but we were all in class having FUN, running around and all, when mds stuck his head in haha.

And also remember how we changed from the DIRTIEST class in the level to the CLEANEST class in the school.

I must say. we have made a BIG BIG improvement since orientation days. We were really bonded towards the end of the year, for drama night and net carn and all. And all those who did cheers/finding shoe size/etc etc and got the players who were playing free drinks for net carn, thanks loads. And the fact that we ALMOST got into drama night shows how much we have progressed yeah.

And the best thing of our class, is that we are really really unique and unpredictable. Not in the bad sense la. As in, our class is made up of interesting people and all haha, that's why we are special. I dont really care what others say about 107 yeah? Cos we know ourselves best and we still care for one another yeah.

Yeah, and though the year might have ended and we wont be together as 107'07 anymore, let's all still stay as we are, and most importantly, keep this blog alive! It really helps in communication. And though we might be in different classes next year, who says we wont get to see each other? There will be such things as swim carn, sports fest, inter house games, where we all get to meet as TARBETIANS, yeah?

I guess that's about it, and keep the 107 spirit BURNING, always!

hey people! I got new news about the skating. A more appealing offer. YEAH! I think it is the cheapest...and it is on WEDNESDAY! Luckily to our advantage yeah(:

Wednesday (10am to 10pm) - Student's Day
All students with Student Pass will be entitled to purchase on Admission Ticket at S$11.60 (Includes Skate Rental and Overtime Charges) - this means, unlimited skating!

There is another one too, if you guys are interested yeah (:

Thursday (10am to 5pm) - Friends Together
Form a Group of 3 and each group will be entitled to Free Skates Rental and Unlimited Skating Time.

I think the Wednesday thing is the most most most appealing, cos we dont need a minimum. Please tag your preference, so we all can know.

previously,it was stated that the price was $11 per person.

actually,it's not.

vicky went to the rink 2dae to skate and she msn-ed me,wif the CORRECT details(according to her).so here they are...

ONE STUDENT:-$11.60 for 2hrs
-overtime charges:$4.20/hr
-skates:$3.20(unlimited usage)
-TOTAL price (per person):$14.80 for 2hrs(excluding overtime)

GROUP(OF 4):-4 ppl must enter and leave together
-$58.80 for 2hrs=$14.70/per pax
-BUT no charge for overtime(means that you can skate ALL you want(:)
-~~skates:$3.20(as per normal)~~ *skates:no charge
-TOTAL price (per person):~~$17.90 for 2hrs~~ *$14.70 for UNLIMITED

GROUP BOOKINGS:-min.20 ppl
-2hrs
-school:$11.60/pax,public(children):$12.60
-BUT this booking includes the price of the skates,overtime,etc(:
-TOTAL price (per person):$11.60

Well done so far for DRAMA NIGHT! give a pat on your shoulder! well, I thought it was really good when we tried it out in front of the drama tchr...cos we have not gone through the WHOLE thing once. So well done! (: But we all NEED MORE practise yeah? I guess I know and you guys know abt that.

Okay now, UPDATES for Drama Night:

I shall go through the changes, in case some people are not aware.

1) Narrator part is REMOVED, except for the last part. (will inform Celine about it)
2) For Rachelle, the whole part of the self-realisation is removed. Replaced with masks. So this is how it goes :

When Rachelle is supposed to self-reflect, grace c/zenia will play the triangle. With every hit of the triangle, you guys are supposed to to this:
first hit : reveal masks slowly.
second hit : for cliques-hold mask in front of face, for rachelle-slowly lift up mask slowly.
third hit : for cliques-lower levels, rachelle-look at mask
fourth hit : for cliques-lower levels, rachelle-throws away mask
fifth hit : rachelle walks over to NERDS (shakes hand)
sixth hit : rachelle walks over to BIMBOS (hugs them)
seventh hit : rachelle walks over to GANGSTERS (gangsters give her a friendly pat/punch)

[narrator speaks either before the fifth hit, or after the seventh hit]

after all the hits, all come together, and say, so what is the face YOU wear.

3) Bimbos and nerds masks are kindly done by anon! *claps*. Gangsters, KINDLY do your own masks, LATEST by tmr...NISHA and SOWNDARYA too. The masks must look identical to the person who is acting the same character.

4) For the nerds, you guys will be getting lab coats. asked mds already.

5) FULL DRESS REHEARSAL TMR!!!!!!!!!
Get/Bring everything tommorrow. it's a MUST. gangsters, bimbos, nerds, all bring your stuff tmr. Includes make-up. Whoever can, just bring it.Nerds : bring a really really thick stack of books.

6) For tmr, this is how things are gna work:
The ACP thing and the drama rehearsal will be going on co-currently. So whoever who is not in the drama night play, go down and help for the stall. Whoever is involved in drama night, you guys HAVE to stay in class and practice the whole thing..FULL DRESSS.(make-up not needed)...and it's like a MUST cos Ms Suzanne is coming quite early to see our performance,(and i think either mds or mstay will come and see the whole thing as well)..so we gotto be REAL serious. time will be allocated for breaks and all, but PLS PLS cooperate.

7) Any questions about drama night, please drop me an email, or ask me online IMMEDIATELY! Things are supposed to go smoothly tmr since time is VERY VERY tight.

Yeah, that's about it all. Please people, I beg you guys to cooperate. We have the potential to get through the auditions, but we need loads of cooperation. Just cooperate tmr kay?

Also, be reminded that there will be dc tmr for LFO from 2.15pm to 3.15pm. So remember to stay back.

me and mag and grace made an EFFORT to tidy up the class a bit on friday...but i highly doubt that it's going to be of any help, seeing that most of our 107ers are of a...er...rather untidy nature?
lols.

anyway isn't there an allotted time for us to tidy up the classroom next next monday?i don't see why we're so SPECIAL, to the extent of us having to clean our class a WEEK earlier than the rest of the classes.

and to top it all off, our ACP stall design isn't even confirmed yet.

okay. now let me clarify.

why we [mds, miss tay, me] did not choose cotton.

cotton is $14. and that's just $3 cheaper than the dry fit.

which is quite pointless since dryfit quality is higher.

and cotton is so normal. plus our tarbet tee is alr cotton.

okay, next issue.

the dry fit costs $17 and not any cheaper, NOT cos mds/Miss tay went to a expensive supplier.

its cos our design was too elaborate and has 3 / 4 colours.

oh and for the shirt sizes, we'll ask you on Monday.

as there is no time to send over sample sizes, i'll just tell you roughly

its has a wide range so i really dunno.

but kim and i are taking 36.
not sure but i guess better big than small right?
